What A Week (Make That Two)…

Wow, the last two weeks at work have really been long and annoying. I really could go into a lot of details, but basically it just boils down to people not doing their job AND me having to fix it. After a while, it just gets old! Hopefully things will go better this coming week, but I can’t say I am hopeful.

This week is packing week at work. Packing?!? Yes, packing! Long story short, I have to move to the other Hewitt Atlanta Office (about 10 miles more away…near Perimeter Mall). Not only do I have to move further away, but I lose my new office. I think I had it for like 2 – 3 months (at the most). The other building has like zero office space, so I have been bumped back down to cube land. Oh…and the kicker is that I get a BAD cube. No window or anything. Just a lame small cube that does not even have room for all of my plants. Clearly I am bitter (and I have a reason to be).

To counter the move, I am going to start working home 2 days a week. Now my official A.W.P. (alternate work pattern) has yet to be approved, but I really don’t care too much. I already work from home when necessary, so I don’t foresee this as an issue.

Outside of work, things have been more or less quiet. Jake continues to become more an more mobile. We are guessing the walking will start in the next month or so. Other then that, nothing else really new.
